ISU PAPPAJOHN CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURISM The ISU Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship has been established to become a nationally recognized creator of new companies with a focus in the areas of engineering, agriculture and veterinary sciences. The College of Business based enter, in collaboration with the academic units at Iowa State University will become a premier provider of education and training in entrepreneurship. The Center has three primary areas of service:
Business Development The business development networks consists of entrepreneurs, technologist, consultants, professionals, investors, faculty and students. The Center will provide start up assistance to clients in the areas of accounting, marketing, sales, legal and management expertise. Provision of these resources through he Center will reduce risk and accelerate the growth of Center companies. Business development activities at the ISU Pappajohn Center focus on innovations and technologies within Iowa State University. Academic Curriculum Iowa State University has begun introducing new courses with an entrepreneurial focus for students in all disciplines across all colleges at ISU. Current and future course offerings include Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Financing New Ventures, Competitive Strategy, New Venture Management, and Dynamics of Small Business Management. Outreach Outreach consists of education and training for students in K-12 and college, faculty, business people and entrepreneurs.
